  • October 10, 1871: Chicago Fire
  • April 18, 1906: San Fransico Earthquake
  • 1968: Renamed The St. Paul Companies
  • 2004: Merged with Travelers Insurance to form St. Paul Travelers
  • 2007: Renamed Travelers, Inc.
