Madasha is a Minnesota-based news, opinion, analysis and political discourse forum focusing on Minnesota’s growing Somali community. Bearing in mind that Somali’s Diaspora is connected to its homeland, Madasha looks to publish content that will refine the discourse on a united and prosperous Somalia. From academia, Madasha will publish relevant information from local, national and international governments and other institutions.

The Minnesota Historical Society holds the world's largest collection of Minnesota newspapers, with dates ranging from 1849 to the present day.

Past issues of most newspaper titles are available on microfilm in the MNHS library, but there is also digital access to select newspapers
