Photographs by Commissioner Chester S. Wilson, 1931-1954 (bulk 1940s)
Photographs, largely taken by Wilson, of departmental projects in which he was interested as commissioner of conservation. Many are forest or lake scenes documenting forest fire, wind, erosion, flood, or other damage, particularly in state parks or forests. Others include personnel or activities of forestry staff or private organizations; tracts involved in the Kabetogama land exchange; and state park sites and facilities.

State Park Atlases, 1957-1971
Blueprint atlases showing detailed drawings of the state parks and state trails operated by the Department of Conservation. Four volumes (1957, 1965, 1967, 1971) cover the state park system as a whole. Two volumes (1963, 1969) show proposed new parks and additions to the existing parks.

Paper (including blueline, blueprint, and tracing and coated papers), linen, and Mylar maps, architectural plans, and drawings detailing topography, general layout, roads and trails, bridges, water and sewage systems, existing and proposed buildings, and other facilities in various state parks, historic sites, state waysides, and proposed state parks. Included are base and ownership maps, site plans, and development studies. Parks with larger amounts of material include Birch Coulee, Flandrea, Fort Ridgely, Fort Snelling, Gooseberry Falls, Jay Cook, Lac Qui Parle, Lake Shetek, Charles A. Lindberg, St. Croix Recreational Demonstration Area and St. Croix, Savanna Portage, Scenic, and Sibley.
