Election Records: Voter Records

For county voter records search the library catalog using the following terms: 

• Local elections [county name]
• Voters' lists [county name]

You can also search for county voter records by using the Advanced Search.

Choose the material type "Archival materials" from the dropdown menu to the right.   

Click "Search."

When your results are listed use the menu on the right side of the screen to filter your results.  Under the "Collections" option select "Local Government Records."

Click on "Apply Filters" at the bottom of the screen

For municipal voter records search the library catalog using the following terms: 

• Local elections [municipal name]
• Voters' lists [municipal name]
• Elections [municipal name]

For school township voter records search the library catalog using the following terms:

• Local elections [county name the township is in]
• Voters' list [county name] 

For school district voter records search the library catalog using the following terms:

• School elections [county name]
• School elections Minnesota
• Voters' list [county name]
• Name of a specific school district (Example: Independent School District No. 256 Red Wing)
