Split Rock Lighthouse is a National Historic Landmark. Surrounded by the Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, the lighthouse has been operated as a historic site by the Minnesota Historical Society since 1976. Visitors can explore four buildings on the property including the restored keeper's house, lighthouse, oil house, and fog signal building. Site also features a visitors center and museum store.
