Visit Split Rock Lighthouse!

Split Rock Lighthouse is a National Historic Landmark. Surrounded by the Split Rock Lighthouse State Park, the lighthouse has been operated as a historic site by the Minnesota Historical Society since 1976. Visitors can explore four buildings on the property including the restored keeper's house, lighthouse, oil house, and fog signal building.  Site also features a visitors center and museum store. Visit MNHS Historic Sites

The Minnesota Historical Society has 26 historic sites and museums.  These locations feature different types of programs and cover a wide variety of topics--from farming and fashion to ancient rock carvings and historic battles.
